Rotary Hears About Small Town Main Street Progress

Robert Murphrey of the State of North Carolina Department of Commerce, Small Town Main Street provided the program for the Windsor Rotary meeting yesterday.




Our Rotary President, Collins Cooper, led the introductory ceremonies.



Our crowd was as usual, enthusiastic and numerous.



Mr. Murphrey's presentation was well received. He captioned it, community Update. He talked about a number of local Work Programs that were being supported by the in what he called our primary trade area. He covered some examples of programs that are being studied. He closed by inviting everyone to attend the regularly scheduled meeting of the Windsor Small Town committee, which was being held that night.



The meeting was closed by the traditional presenting of the cobalt blue coffee mug by Collins.
