Where Presidents Come From

Presidents are formed by the choices they make in life.

After college, Eagle Scout Rick Perry served his nation as a pilot in the Air Force. He has acquired a reputation as a man with the John Wayne vibe typical of men who are accomplished in dangerous fields of endeavor.

After college, Barack Obama lived on Manhattan's Upper East Side, venturing to the East Village for what he called "the socialist conferences I sometimes attended at Cooper Union." It was where he acquired the habit of hanging out with racist radicals who hate our nation and smoking pot.

My personal favorite picture of Rick Perry, at a 2006 event where he gave the keynote speech on free enterprise. He emphasized the importance of government allowing business to create jobs so that the economy can thrive. Even then his mantra was jobs, jobs, jobs. It is not a new focus adopted opportunistically to address the current crisis in jobs our nation is suffering.
