Wired Village

"The network lets people feel less isolated; it doesn't replace face-to-face communications, it supplements it. The real value of the network, I think, is that we can all tell our own story. We can get our voices back."

The Inner Banks region needs to catch up with the rest of the world in its use of computer and network technology to advance communications. This eleven year old article describes a communication world that we have not yet attained in this area.
