Chowan Arts Council Honors Rhonda Bates

This evening the Chowan Arts Council Open House was held to honor Rhonda Bates and display her paintings for the public.

Titled "To the Point" - The Works of Rhonda Bates, it is an impressive diplay of artistic talent.

Chowan Arts Council Always Draws A Great Crowd

Rhonda Bates is a co-citizen of Edenton and Frisco, NC. She is known regionally as the owner of Red Drum Pottery, but Rhonda's first medium of art though is painting. She received her degree in painting from the prestigious Corcoran School of Art and design in Washington DC.

Attendees Were Impressed With Rhonda's Work

As Usual The Food Was Excellent

This exhibit will run until November 8, 2006. You really should not miss it. As much as these pictures hint at the quality of Rhonda's work, it is more impressive in person.
