Barack Obama reads his teleprompter with all the conviction of a master at giving speeches. He is always so SINCERE. However there is a growing uncertainty whether he believes anything that he says. First perfect example? Yesterday Barack Obama apparently read the speech intended to be given by his guest from Ireland and sincerely thanked himself for inviting everyone to the St. Patrick Day Party he was giving. The screw up was not even noticed until the Irish guest realized he was giving the same speech!

Obama Thanks Himself, Irish PM Repeats Speech in Teleprompter Meltdown

Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen was just a few paragraphs into an address at a St. Patrick's Day celebration at the White House when he realized something sounded way too familiar. Turns out, he was repeating the speech President Barack Obama had just given.

Cowen was set to speak twice at the White House on Tuesday night because there were two different parties going on at the executive mansion. No matter -- he would give the same speech to the two different audiences.

But Cowen was 20 seconds into his second address when it dawned on him that he was giving word for word the speech that Obama had just read from the same teleprompter.

Cowen stopped and looked back at the president to say, "That's your speech."

Obama laughed and returned to the podium to offer what might have been Cowen's remarks. In doing so, President Obama thanked President Obama for inviting everyone over.

Every day, day by day, the incomeptence of an amateur Presidential regime becomes more and more obvious. The point is that the Irish Prime Minister was wrong. The speech was not Obama's. Obama simply read it first without realizing it was the Prime Minister's speech. However he read it with all the passion and sincerity he always displays when reading any speech.

Can everyone imagine the absolutely humiliating condemnation that would have poured out of the major newspapers if any Republican had committed such a stupid gaffe? Other than conservative blogs, I bet this is a secret that no one will hear about!
