Except for a single city that last had a Republican Mayor a little over 20 years ago, the rest have been exclusively Democrat for much longer. The average length of time since the last time these cities had a Republican Mayor? 74 YEARS. Average length of time. That means only the people 75 years old or greater were alive the last time there was a Republican Mayor. Yet every one of these Democrat Mayors complain bitterly about how all the problems in their city are the fault of Republicans.
