E Pluribus Tucson:
Uprising in Arizona

by Tamara Audi - March 15th, 2011 - Wall Street Journal

TUCSON, Ariz.—On the patio of a downtown bar here last Wednesday night, a handful of people gathered over pitchers of beer to plot the creation of America's 51st state.

With copies of the Arizona constitution before them, they debated how to turn Pima County—a liberal southern swatch of Arizona that borders Mexico and includes Tucson—into "Baja Arizona."

Democrats are proving all over America what childish and contemptible Americans they are -- if you can call them Americans at all. From Texas to Wisconsin, when they lose elections they flee the state to sabotage democracy and make sure that bills they oppose cannot be passed by the majority.

When they win, the mantra is "elections have consequences." When they lose, the mantra is "we will stop at nothing to sabotage democracy."

In Arizona they have started the ultimate campaign to take their ball and go home. They are attempting to organize a secession movement to split off from Arizona.
